My last Sharp was 1200 watts but this one seems to cook better. The only reason I replaced the old one was a lighting strike took out the display. My wife took the old one to work which was a SUBSTANTIAL upgrade over the one with a dial to spin.
Only con, all our appliances are white and this one is black only.

I purchased this oven to replace one that I had for about 5 years. The LED panel went on it. I saw this oven and liked the size and power but most of all needed it to fit a particular sized footprint. It arrived and fit perfectly and the power is just great. The “only” thing I don’t like and it’s very minor is that the door shuts with a loud bang. Other than that it works like a charm with the many settings. Perfect for warming up coffee or syrup. I love it and would recommend for the money.

Works pretty well, but needs to be replaced more ofter than package indicates.
That means you use more filters, increasing cost.
The price should be cheaper
Just made 4 stars – I’d give 3.5 if possible due to frequency of filter change and cost- MOSTLY COST

We’d been buying the Ultra 1250 for years from Home Depot. Thought it was the best we could do. Last spring Home Depot stopped selling the 16×20 size we use, so I came to Amazon. Lo and behold, there was the Advanced 1500. From the positive reviews, I decided to take a chance. I’ve been so happy with it. We live right beside a major highway, and city dust collects in our house all the time. Nasty stuff. Even when I changed the Ultra 1250 every six weeks, I’d still get stopped up during the sixth week. Now with the Advanced 1500, I can get through the six weeks and not feel desperate to change the filter. It’s expensive to change it so often, but I love not having so much dust to breathe and collect on all the surfaces. Also, since the Ultra 1250 was already protecting our aging heat pump — the inside unit is very, very clean — we have hope the Advanced 1500 will do an even better job. I’ve been very happy with this purchase and have just bought my next six-pack.

I have been using the Filtrete filters for years, and because I developed allergies later in life, have adjusted them over time. I am allergic to dust, mold, dander, dustmites, and almost anything that lurks inside. My philosophy has always been that you get what you pay for, so I figured if I got the tightest woven, highest grade and most expensive furnace filter, then I would be really helping with cutting down on the allergens that are in my house. Then I had my yearly furnace checkup, and was told that the higher the number on the filter, the more tightly woven it is and therefore, the harder it makes your furnace work to ‘push’ through. I had assumed that buying the 1900 that Filtrete makes and that is considered their maximum strength filter, would be the right choice. But what ends up happening is that your furnace goes into overdrive to push air through the heavy weave, and it can be damaged. So this 1500 is enough. I change mine every three months (and sooner if there is dusty work going on in the house, like floor sanding, etc.), and it really helps.

These filters do a great job of cleaning the air in my house. I leave the furnace fans run 24/7 to keep air movement throughout the house and since switching to the 3M Filtrete line of filters I have seen a drastic reduction of dust settlement on furniture throughout the week and the air smells fresh!

3M Filtrete 6-Pack, Advanced Allergen Reduction Filter, 20 x 25 x 1

3M makes a wonderful and efficient “Filtrete Advanced Allergen Reduction Filter” for your central air and heating unit. The standard “default” dimensions are 16 inches by 25 inches by 1 inch wide; and you get 6 filters to a package. In addition, there are several different sizes of this filter just in case your central air/heating unit requires a filter of different dimensions. Some may argue that this product is a little too pricey; but I have allergies especially now that it’s springtime and when I use these I notice I cough and sneeze a lot less. It’s worth the price! These filters would be ideal for people who own cats and dogs because they are made extra carefully to catch their dander. The actual filter is enclosed within a strong cardboard-type of packing and there’s a wire mesh on both the top and the bottom of the filter. Excellent!

Installation, cleaning and replacement of the filters are all remarkably easy. Just open the slot where your current filter is resting, remove the old filter and insert this one instead. 3M claims that you only get three months worth of use out of this filter; but actually I get about 6 or even 8 months use out of it. One thing that may well help you to get this filter to last as long as possible is to remove it once a month and take it outside where you can clean it of leaves and larger particles of dust. That may be why I get extra long life from each of these filters. Another possible way to get longer life out of each filter is to conserve energy (which we all need to do anyway) and use the central air/heat less frequently; this should extend the life of each individual filter.

Store these filters in a safe, dry place where no water could get at them; and they’ll serve you well. They cost more; but they’re worth every penny you’ll spend on them.
